Had hummus sandwich, all vegan - was very decent. Wasn't super expensive, 9 bucks for a decent sized sandwich. Austin has been more expensive than that, Peet's is in the same place too for a quick coffee. This place also has very clean restrooms.

Pretty standard cafeteria style food! They serve Peet's code and sandwiches, carry chips, etc. they also serve "Yosemite water." I got bagels here. The bagels were good, filled to the brim with cream cheese as posted in the photos. :-) Service was fast as we came early in the morning, and staff were nice! The ambiance was really nice as well, there's a fireplace and lots of seating.

The sandwich menu at Degnan's is, surprisingly, not that bad (it's really hard to find good food in Yosemite Valley). I just stopped by recently and tried the Hiker Hummus sandwich, which comes with garlic and roasted pepper hummus, cucumber, lettuce, and tomato. I also added bacon. The deli clerk asked me whether wanted white or wheat bread, and whether I wanted my whole sandwich toasted, or just the bacon. I said wheat, and just the bacon. The wheat bread reminded me of those cheap wheat breads that claim to taste like white bread. It may be healthier than the white bread, but maybe not by much. The hummus was definitely not my favorite hummus of all time, but it was alright. Again, it tasted kind of cheap-- like those big tubs of Sabra hummus from Walmart. The produce was not bad. It wasn't noticeable crispy or fresh (which makes sense, because it's probably grown a few hours away), but it wasn't bad at all. The bacon was alright. Not burnt, not great, but not bad. I felt like they gave me a decent enough quantity for the cost and sandwich size. The sandwich itself was like 5-6 inches. I was so hungry, I probably could have eaten two of them. If there were an option to order a bigger sandwich, I might have done that, but there was only one size. My favorite thing about Degnan's are the multiple electrical outlets. There are enough for several people to charge their devices in each of the outer rooms. The customer service was great, and the lobby was clean enough considering the hour. Although, to be real, I usually wipe my own table before placing any electronic devices on it. All things considered, it was an alright lunch for $10 in the valley.

I went last year for sandwiches, and today, went for coffee and quick snack. 1) Clean and modern look 2) Bathroom very clean and modern 3) there is a fireplace there, which is nice, when weather is cold 4) Employees/workers there are super friendly. 5) Ordered sandwiches, the sandwiches are very good. and good to take outside for picnic. 6) They also sell bowl of chills, not sure whether there are other soup option or now. 7) I don't know how crazy or crowded in summer. I went in May and last year went in april, not that crowded. And today is big rain, still have a lot of people.
